Comet Records opened in 1984 in Chatham Street , off Grafton Street, moved in '86 to Crown Alley and in 1989 to the present premises in Cope Street. Opened in Washington Street in Cork in 1990. Closed in 2004, but came back in 2009. But in 2011 they closed for the last time.
